Millenia Advanced Scientific, LLC is a CLIA certified state-of-the-art laboratory built from scratch to specifically address the Covid-19 Pandemic. We put together a team of PhD Scientists and licensed technologists with more than 40 years of experience in Infectious Disease.
As a Business Development Manager (with the opportunity to be promoted as Business Development Director), you will be primarily responsible for designing and implementing a strategic business plan that expands our client base as well as providing sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions/territories.
Responsibilities:
- Execute business development initiatives that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy
- Revenue generation and strategic partnerships development and management
- Having an existing book of business for a quick new client onboarding is highly favorable
- Create target prospects lists and cold call on potential clients within your assigned territory that consist primarily of pathology laboratories and hospital systems
- Drive product sales for all product and service offerings within an assigned territory
- Generating competitive accounts through c-suite, executive, system level, and key stakeholders; form and execute customer touches based on customer’s buying cycle
- Identify key players, researching and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to begin sales cycle
- Identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects
- Interact with members of the management team to secure new business opportunities
- Integrate with business development team, contribute to the work ethic, culture and values
- Maintain knowledge of the technical and clinical environment, as well as competitors and their presence
- Attend industry events with professional manner and polished appearance to gain new business leads and contacts
- Complete requested administrative reports and tasks on a timely basis
- Establish positive, long-term client relations resulting in revenue profits
- Be responsible for educating and developing prospects leading to solid partnerships
- Manages inbound leads from multiple sources and set up meetings
- Provide timely and accurate reporting of prospects, account plans and territory management activities as required
- Engage current users to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities and develop account intelligence
- Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone and email
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
- Strong business acumen with at least 5 years of experience in selling services, developing pipeline of opportunities, and closing sales
- Capable of understanding client pain points, requirements and correlating potential business to value
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and follow up skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and has the discipline to stay focused and complete specific task
- Strictly follows the company policy on client confidentiality
- Ability to prioritize and scale revenue driving efforts
- Ability to manage personal and interpersonal stress
- Ability to travel within the entire territory, including frequent visits to corporate office and client sites
- Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals

- BA/BS or advanced degree or relevant experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the laboratory industry with working knowledge of business development
What We Offer:
- Base Salary of $62k-$72k depending on experience and client base with monthly commissions, which has the potential to generate an additional $100K-200k annually
